![]() One of the first things I went to do when I unlocked that portion of the map in the epilogue was to ride up to where John confronts Dutch, and you can't do it. There are a few things they changed in RDR2 version of RDR1's world, like for instance, the mountain that John confronts Dutch on at the end of RDR1, that whole area was redone and dropped for some reason in RDR2's Tall Trees region. People have pointed to including ~60% of the map from the original game, when nearly all of it us unused in RDR2 (single player), and really it's not used much in RD Online either, and also the rough geometry of Mexico, when it's not even possible to visit Mexico in the game (without glitching), as indications that they're going to do it. There's been a lot of speculation that Rockstar has been planning to re-do RDR1 in RDR2's engine/world/mechanics, but a lot of it is wishcasting from people like me who really want to seamlessly continue the RDR1 story after RDR2's story in the same game. From what we've seen of these remastered games, GTAV is a much more visually impressive game. ![]() ![]() Nah, this isn't in GTAV's engine, this is a separate engine, seems to be Unreal Engine from waht we've read, and it's basically like a custom version of GTAIII Trilogy rebuilt in a modern engine borrowing a lot of the same assets but cleaning them up/modernizing them. ![]()
